Hi Chris
Liked the talk, like your approach to getting your expertise used online. Truly a role model.
Also, the do’s and don’ts contribution voiced something I had been aware of but not articulated for myself i.e. when someone has left Tokyo to spend 18 months in London to study for an MBA I wonder if they want to be treated differently (because of any cultural knowledge I might think I have) or if they have set out to immerse themselves in a UK culture and would be irritated by different treatment when I meet them in a group.
Thanks
Hi Jo,
Thanks for your comment!
As far as the do’s & dont’s: it’s a good point you make. According to me the word “Culture” (in this website’s context) describes “general trends in society”, and does not account for individual behaviour.
