About This Week’s Guest
Jesse is the Chief Learning Officer at Lingo Live and oversees the development of the company’s learning program and coaching community.
Focused on situated approaches to learner development, his learning program design leverages meaningful relationships, real-world contexts and behavior change models for optimal impact.
His primary mission aims to empower people with the confidence and knowledgeable skills to participate fully and authentically in a target community.
Concurrently, Jesse is writing his dissertation on online language coaching for learners of heritage languages for his Ph.D. program at the University of Texas at Austin.
“Language is so much more than words.”
His tips to become as old as possible as healthy as possible are:
- Develop your empathy for other cultures.
- Build relationships with different people from different walks of life in that culture.
- Work with someone who can help you to see things differently; a coach for example.
